 Leadership is a different job.

Most emerging leaders are promoted because they are good at the technical work. Then they are expected to delegate, give feedback, manage difficult conversations, influence stakeholders and lead other people, often without anyone showing them how.

Ascent helps people make that transition with practical tools they can use immediately.

Ascent is designed for:

New managers and team leads
People who have recently taken responsibility for the performance of others and newly appointed managers and team leads

Emerging leaders
People already taking on informal leadership responsibilities and ready to become more effective.

High-potential professionals
People preparing for their first formal leadership role.

What will you be able to do by the end?

By the end of Ascent, you will be better equipped to:

  • Make the shift from completing the work yourself to leading others

  • Set clear expectations and hold people accountable

  • Delegate effectively without losing control of the outcome

  • Give useful feedback and handle difficult conversations

  • Influence stakeholders and manage upwards

  • Lead with greater confidence through change and uncertainty

WHAT MAKES ENGAGE DIFFERENT

Leadership development built for Digital Infrastructure.

Engage combines practical leadership development with industry case studies, access to industry leaders and a network of peers from across Digital Infrastructure.

Relevant for your world

The examples, discussions and scenarios reflect the realities of working across data centres, construction, engineering, energy, technology and the wider supply chain.

Learn alongside the industry

Your cohort will include emerging leaders from different organisations across Digital Infrastructure. You will learn how others approach similar challenges and build relationships that continue after the program.

Apply it to something that matters

Your Personal Improvement Project turns the learning into a tangible workplace outcome, giving you the opportunity to improve something in your organisation and demonstrate your leadership.

“One of the best leadership programs I've attended. The sessions were engaging, fun and genuinely practical, with real-world examples that made everything relevant to my role.

I came away with new skills and tools that I've been able to put into practice straight away, and they've made a real difference to how I lead my team.”
